يا صغير...يا حلو
يا شبه خالو
أو هيك عنّو الناس قالو
يا عيدك بأيام... بعد عيدي
بدّي إكتبلك قصيدة
وغنّي مَعَك أجمل أغاني
يا أحلى من ورد أورجواني!
يا برعم غضّ أخضر
يا طير صغير...ناطر تيكبر
لحتى يطير...
عمهلك...يا صغير
لا تستعجل على عمرك يا غالي
وخلّيك طفل عم تركض قبالي
ويلحقك جدَّك
وتهرب بعيد...ويضمَّك
حضن إمَّك هالرقيقة
المش بس إختي..بل صديقة
وتنام وتحلم يا حياتي
بشي لعبة...بشي ضحكة...بمُستقبل الآتي
وكل سنة..وإنت بخير يا حبيب
والله يجمعنا...تشوفك عن قريب.

you know hashem, when i pick my nephew up after a long time, i almost can't believe that he's calm in my arms. the way my sister wouldn't trust anyone to take him out for a ride but then she trusts me without a minute of hesitation. or when omar sees me kissing his mom and then he runs and kisses me. right then nand there, i understood what it means to be his aunt and it's bound to teach you so much even about what family means.
