words..on your birthday

As you turn another page..
adding a number...a new age
Looking ahead..
forced to look back
what you did...and you said
pictures...white and black
who you were..and who you are
memories..near and far
and you're here..
a smile..a frown..a new scar!

Don't you tear
O' my dear!
look around
listen...the bird's sound
you and me..
"do ri..mi"!
and the moon
like a balloon...
and here's the kid...near you
following the sky's blue!

Will you come...with me?
tour the world..sail the sea?
enough..enough...being alone
you can't sing forever..a monotone!
On your song...
let me dance..and sing along
let me be..around you
let a dream..come true!
at the night..when stars shine..
let me be yours..and you're mine!

happy birthday, Christina..

Dear Hashem

I came across your blog from Lebanon heartblog forum. I'm currently doing exploratory research on blogging for my PhD degree at the University of Westminster, UK. I would really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes of your time to fill out this questionnaire in order to help me find out more about blogging in Lebanon. Your replies are crucial to helping in my evaluation. Most people are able to complete the questionnaire in less than 8 minutes.

Please note that your responses and any comments will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and your annonymity will be granted throughout my analysis. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, please do not hesitate to contact me at

Thank you very much for your time and valuable input and please pass on the link to other bloggers and put it on your blog if possible.

I have two versions: One in english and one in Arabic. Please only fill out the one of your language choice, they are identical.

Some people have the power to make your hearts flutter and fill your tummy with butterflies just with their simple words and beautiful illustrations... The way they weave ideas and images with the use of words and knit you a sweater of coziness and happy thoughts is just incredible! U have that ability... Chapeaux bas!

Allow me to add that Christina is a very lucky girl to have someone write such heart-felt and sincere words for her... I am sure she is also a great source of inspiration which means she is pure and filled with white untainted light...

Best of luck to u both...

I hope the day will come when I stop writing for those I love and instead start reading their words to me...
